2026 MNOA Training Conference

The Montana Narcotics Officers Association (MNOA) is a non-profit organization consisting of state and federal law enforcement officers, attorneys, sheriffs, chiefs of police, and probation and parole officers across Montana.

One of our key initiatives is the annual MNOA training conference, celebrating its 31st anniversary in 2026. We are excited to announce that the 2026 conference will be held at the Copper King Hotel & Convention Center in Butte, Montana, from February 23rd to 26th, 2026.

For our 31st conference, MNOA is offering multiple options for attendance. We will  continue to offer our Full Conference ticket, which will be the standard selection for a majority of attendees. This ticket is the recommended option for all. Our second option is a 1/2 Conference option (Feb 25-26th) which is only open to those whose primary assignment is working in a marked patrol function only.  MNOA is not offering this 1/2 Conference option to any position other than marked patrol. 

We know those who work patrol, often work varying shifts and days. We are also aware that many agencies are unable to commit to sending their patrol officers/deputies away for a full week without causing shift shortages. These shortages often require the agency to find suitable solutions for staffing, often times with the available solutions being expensive or not possible. In an effort to help with that issue, with input from agencies around our state, MNOA has decided to offer a 1/2 Conference option that is only available to patrol officers who otherwise would not be able to attend. Our hope is that this will allow more patrol officers/deputies from around our state to attend our conference. MNOA would like to strongly encourage all patrol members to attend the full conference if they are able but if not, we hope the 1/2 Conference option offers versatility for them and their agencies so that they may attend some of the conference.
